He holds a degree in Industrial Design\u00a0from the Pontif\u00edcia Universidade Cat\u00f3lica of Rio de Janeiro \u2013 PUC-Rio (1985), an MBA in Marketing at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iag.puc-rio.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IAG \/ PUC-Rio<\/a>\u00a0(1991), and an MSc (1994) and a D.Sc. (2003) in Production Engineering from the <a href=\"https:\/\/ufrj.br\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federal University of Rio de Janeiro \u2013 UFRJ<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He was a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Cognitive, Linguistic &amp; Psychological Sciences at Brown University, with a postdoctoral scholarship from CNPq \u2013 National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (2017 to July 2018).<\/p>\n<p>Since 1995, he has also coordinated the Laborat\u00f3rio de Gest\u00e3o em Design, working within the D.A.D. Post-Graduate Programme (MA and Ph.D.).
