Online WS di T-Factor “Enabling Regulation for Temporary Use”

We are glad to share that on May 6th the T-Factor project — in which Polifactory works as consortium member — will organize the webinar “Enabling Regulation for Temporary Use”, bringing together experts from different European cities to share a conversation regarding instruments, processes, and understandings of how the possibilities of ‘meanwhile’ foster the positive effects of temporary urbanism.

Meanwhile uses are on the rise across Europe. Vacant buildings, empty lots, and unused spaces are becoming the object of temporary use as sites for co-creative experimentation. However, implementing temporary uses is sometimes difficult, e.g. for a couple of legal considerations or regulatory barriers.

During this workshop, we will specifically address the following questions:

  • How do cities enable temporary use to enhance urban regeneration?
  • How can city administrations develop capacities to use temporary urbanism?
  • What are the possible directions for enabling temporary use regulation?

Siamo lieti di condividere la notizia che il 6 maggio il progetto H2020 T-Factor – di cui Polifactory fa parte – organizzerà il webinar “Enabling Regulation for Temporary Use“, riunendo esperti di diverse città europee per condividere una conversazione sugli strumenti, i processi e la comprensione di come le possibilità dei “meanwhile uses” favoriscano gli effetti positivi del temporary urbanism.

Gli usi temporanei sono in aumento in tutta Europa. Edifici sfitti, lotti vuoti e spazi inutilizzati stanno diventando oggetto di usi temporaneo come siti di sperimentazione co-creativa. Tuttavia, la realizzazione degli usi temporanei è spesso difficile, ad esempio a causa di considerazioni legali o di barriere normative.

Nel corso del workshop verranno affrontate le seguenti domande:

  • Come possono le città consentire l’uso temporaneo per migliorare la rigenerazione urbana?
  • Come possono le amministrazioni cittadine sviluppare le capacità di utilizzare l’urbanistica temporanea?
  • Quali sono le possibili direzioni per la regolamentazione dell’uso temporaneo?
