Barbara Parini

Graduated in Architecture, specialising in Industrial Design, from the Politecnico di Milano. Since 1999, she has been collaborating with the School of Design at the Politecnico di Milano in the field of education and the development of design research. At Polifactory, she focuses on innovation in healthcare, studying and analysing how bottom-up innovation solutions and processes can progressively reconfigure the contemporary healthcare landscape (examples of this research include the MakeToCare and DesignHealthcareInnovation projects). She is also currently the teaching coordinator of the Master’s degree in DESIGN FOR FOOD, developed by POLI.design in collaboration with the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo.
