
Antonio Capone
Antonio Capone is Full Professor of Telecommunications at the Politecnico di Milano, where he is Dean of the School of Industrial and Information Engineering, member of the POLIMI2040 strategic group, and director of the Advanced Network Technologies Laboratory (ANTLab) of the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB). His expertise lies in the field of communication networks and his main research activities include resource management in radio networks, traffic engineering in software-defined networks, and network planning and optimisation. He has published more than 250 articles on these topics in international journals and conference proceedings (https://scholar.google.it/citations?user=japaVfAAAAAJ). He is currently editor of two international journals (IEEE Trans. on Mobile Computing, Computer Communications) and has been editor of others in recent years (ACM/IEEE Trans. on Networking, Computer Networks). He regularly participates in the technical committees of the most important international conferences in the field, for which he has also held organisational roles. He is a fellow of the IEEE.
