
Erin McCauliffe
A PhD candidate in Design (36th cycle), Erin is interested in integrating design into policy development and implementation, and understanding the policy crafting skills needed by public administrations to implement these new ways of creating and implementing policy.
Prior to her doctoral studies, Erin worked as a civil servant and design consultant for the governments of Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, for humanitarian organisations and for a European-funded climate programme. Erin holds a Master’s degree in Design from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Flinders University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern Queensland.
In the Department of Design, Erin is also a member of the Design Policy Lab research group.
