It operates both as a manager or partner of technological and scientific projects dedicated to competitive and pre-competitive development and as a service provider for public and private entities interested in using its spaces, technologies, and expertise for competitive, consulting, and exploratory research.

The projects developed by Polifactory researchers and students address various types of design innovation—from circular to digital, from social to user- and patient-engaged innovation—adopting the discipline’s methods and tools in diverse fields of application.
