Anche quest’anno Polifactory ha avuto il piacere di ospitare le giornate del Milano Design PhD Festival. In questa edizione particolarmente speciale, il Festival festeggia i suoi dieci anni contemporaneamente ai trent’anni del corso di dottorato in Design del Politecnico di Milano.
Come consuetudine, è stato presentato un calendario ricco di attività: il format “Meet the PhD in Design”, nel quale i dottorandi hanno discusso “colloquialmente” con gli studenti di laurea magistrale del percorso di dottorato; ke lectio magistralis; i panel di esperti ed infine le difese dottorali (il programma completo è disponibile a questo link).
Il Festival si è concluso con un evento speciale: il seminario DESIS Philosophy Talk, nel quale alcuni tra i più importanti ricercatori in design della scena internazionale hanno discusso il tema “Designing as Politics of Nature”.
Milano Design PhD Festival 2020
Once again this year, Polifactory had the pleasure to host the Milano Design PhD Festival.
It is a special year for the Festival, that celebrates its 10th anniversary, together with the 30th anniversary since the doctoral course in Design of Politecnico di Milano was founded.
As usual, the program has been rich in activities: the event “Meet the PhD in Design”, where undergraduate students informally met current PhD students; the lectio magistralis; the experts panel and the doctoral defenses (the complete program is available at this link).
Festival ended with a special event: the DESIS Philosophy Talk seminar, where some of the most important international researchers in design discussed on the topic “Designing as Politics of Nature”.
