Re-spira. Domestic photobioreactor for Spirulina farming.

This project aims to develop a domestic photobioreactor for Spirulina farming, capable to grow this kind of algae daily in a really easy way. The high percentage of proteins, mineral salts and antioxidants, make Spirulina an excellent supplement, suitable for everyone. The designed system is enough to support the algae production needs of an entire family, that is about 25 liters. To best fit everyone’s needs the system is modular, in order to permit every user to increase or decrease Spirulina production autonomously.
