Stefano Crabu is a science, technology, and medicine sociologist at the Department of Design of the Politecnico di Milano. He mainly works on scientific and technological innovation processes in the life sciences and ICT. His recent publications have centred on the sociomaterial and epistemological aspects of contemporary biomedicine, laboratory practices, and hacking practices. He is member of the META Study Unit at the Politecnico di Milano.
